Museum Administrator

Position available for a dynamic, committed administrator who will ensure the smooth running of the museum, manage and facilitate a well functioning team and help to implement company procedures and day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Museum staff coordination:  

    • Ensure appropriate onboarding, training and scheduling of employees, volunteers and Sherut Leumi. 

    • Preparing monthly staff schedule and salary reporting. 

    • Delegate and supervise staff responsibilities in coordination with management

    • Serve as the point person for staff, address employee queries and facilitate solutions or direct to relevant managers. 

  • Implementation of museum operational systems and procedures

  • Manage museum maintenance: supply orders, necessary repairs and vendor coordination

  • Event management - Point person for museum events, client and vendor coordination.

This position requires:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Understanding of administration policies, systems and procedures

  • Ability to supervise and lead staff

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Executive Assistant an advantage. 

  • Fluent Hebrew and English

  • Hours: 9:00-15:00 (with some flexibility)

  • Availability on Chol Hamoed and during other peak periods
