Elephant
Yes, these tusks are life size! The elephant's tusks are two enormous teeth that grow outside of their mouths, and are used as tools to dig, gather food, defend themselves, and, among males, battle each other. Unfortunately, today it is very rare to see a wild elephant with such large tusks in the wild. Elephant tusks are made of a valuable material called ivory, and poachers often kill elephants before their tusks reach full size. A full grown male African elephant’s tusks can reach all the way to the ground! Such elephants are very rare today, and ivory trade is illegal in most countries. Tusks of the size on display could be worth tens of thousands of dollars on the black market, and therefore these are lifelike plastic models.
