Yedidya Brauner was born in Israel to American parents. As a child, he loved going to the zoo, safari and natural history museum. During his IDF service, Yedidya was an NCO Rabbi in the IDF, and delivered Torah lectures to thousands of soldiers. Following his military service, he taught for several years at Yeshivat Ashreinu in Beit Shemesh, while working in hi-tech. Helping people connect the words of the Torah to the wider world has been a life-long passion of his, and certainly comes to fruition at the museum, where Yedidya is involved both in education and in business and technological development. Yedidya lives in Beit Shemesh with his wife and four daughters.
